sales associate

We are hiring a sales associate for local markets in Durham and Chapel Hill 

The sales associate will be responsible for attending 3-4 local markets per month, selling our products, representing our business to the public, and knowledge of the products and ingredients.

This position is moderately physically demanding and requires a willingness to wake up early and work outdoors on Saturdays.

  • Weekend availability

  • Reliable transportation

  • An interest and enthusiasm for natural skincare and/ or herbalism

  • Physically able to lift up to 40 or 50 lbs.

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, ability to use a point of sale

  • An open-minded and outgoing personality 

  • Sales or customer service experience preferred

  • This is a part time hourly position.

  • Starting wage is $18 or $20 per hour, with opportunity to quickly grow depending on performance. You will be compensated for your time training with us for a couple of markets and will transition to working independently.

  • Hours range from 20-35 per month (depending on your availability and our seasonal needs)

  • The markets will mainly be our regular farmers markets in Chapel Hill and/or Durham, as well as periodic large special events like craft shows and pop-up markets. We may have some flexibility about dates and locations.
